개요
This course has been designed to present backgrounds and insights in areas of optics ranging from optical physics to applied optics and optical engineering. It provides students with a broad education in both fundamental and applied optics including optical system design.
This course consists of five major parts: wave optics, geometrical optics, optical system design, optical imaging principle and modality, and their biomedical/industrial applications. The goal of this course are to familiarize students with basic knowledge of optics; and to provide an ability to design optical systems practically.
