4 Week : Perturbation Theory, Time-independent 2 Fine structure of Hydrogen, Zeeman effect, Hyperfine splitting

5 Week : Variational Principle

6 Week : WKB Approximation 1

7 Week : WKB Approximation 2

8 Week : Midterm

9 Week : Time-dependent Perturbation Theory 1 Two-level systems, Emission and absorption of radiation

10 Week : Time-dependent Perturbation Theory 2 Spontaneous Emission

used with an absolute standard not relative one. Help each other!

Homework

  • 5-6 problems on LMS each week
  • you may upload your solutions on LMS and LMS activity would be graded

Project

  • Subject : Any subject related to QM including Quantum chemistry, Quantum material, Quantum information, Quantum biology etc.
  • Format : Korean or English, about 5 pages, like a Journal of Korean physical society
  • proposal : 2 paragraphs at Week 9 / if failed, another by Week 10
  • presentation : week 15
